Booking Minimum

Ebony’s Pet Care Services, LLC will not subject any animal in its care to abuse or negligence; therefore, check-in minimums have been established in order to ensure care properly meets each pet’s unique needs.

  • Dogs: 3 Check-in/day (minimum 1hr total time per day when you will not be returning home)
  • Cats/Small mammals: 1 Check-in/day


All payments are due at least five days prior the first appointment by invoice credit card. Preferred clients with positive payment history may leave cash or check to be made available on the date of the first appointment. Appointments requested or paid within five days of the appointment start date will be considered last minute and charged a 10% late fee. If your invoice is past due it will be auto-charged to your card with the late fee included.  Reservations are not held until the payment is received by Ebony’s Pet Care Services, LLC or special arrangements are agreed upon by both parties in writing. There will be a $10.00 service charge for each returned check.

Cancellation Policy

Reservations are made to plan sitter availability to clients.  Therefore, clients returning home early will be required to pay for the reserved amount of time scheduled unless special   arrangements are agreed upon by both parties in writing.

  •  0 – 48 hours prior to any service, and/or Holidays: Payment in full is charged (no refunds)
  • 2 – 7 days prior to service: 20% of service total is due (equals an 80% account credit)
  • 8 days prior to service or more: No charge, refund in full (account credit).

Dual Care Clause

At the time that service is booked, Owner will notify pet sitter of everyone who has been granted access to the home during the service period. Any other person(s) authorized to enter the owners home at any date and time must be explicitly explained to the pet sitter in writing. This is in the interest of safety and security for the pet sitter, pet, and your home. Ebony’s Pet Care Services, LLC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to the premises if other individuals have access to a client’s home, or if the home is not properly secured.

Key Pick up/ Return

It is in the best interest of the pet, sitter, and owner to make a two (2) spare copies of the house key to remain in the sitter’s possession. Keys will be labeled with discretion and stored in a fireproof locked key cabinet. At the owners discretion, key’s may be returned by mail upon the owners return for a $10.00 shipping fee. Any key pick up/drop off request will require an additional $10.00 fee. While keys are in the possession of a Pet Sitter, they will be either on the Sitter’s physical person, or secured in a locked key cabinet.


Flexibility in scheduling is essential to ensure proper attention is given to each animal, allow for accident clean up or traffic delays, or to accommodate pets with specific needs (such as medication administered at a certain time). According to your visitation schedule, I will arrive at your home at any time within the established parameters:

  • Morning: 6:30am-9:30am
  • Mid-day: 11:00am-3:30pm
  • Evening: 5:00-8:30pm

Pets needing specific accommodations outside of the above time parameters can arrange for unique scheduling if necessary.
